When is the last time you played?

I put 2+ years. I’ve dabbled a bit here and there. Maybe half a dozen scenes? But the spark just hasn’t been there in a long time.

I put 7-12 months.
I’m technically running a private story right now, but I wouldn’t really count it as “RPing on a Mush” in the common parlance.

I flaked off my last game and I guestimated a year ago. I am waiting in the wings to pounce on a couple that I know are in process of being built, but nothing in the intervening time has caught my interest enough to overcome my inertia.

Gradually bounced off of the MU* I played after Arx, so now I’m between games. Waiting for something that appeals.

i tried to figure out when the last time i played was and i’m honestly still not sure, but it’s at least been over a year, so i put that. kind of shocking for me to think about, because it’s longer than i’ve been away from the hobby for a very, very long time. but i’ve just been doing other things! doing a lot more writing and reading and the like. i’ll be back when my whims change.

My Otaku sits in chargen at Shadowrun Denver Fifteen years waiting for staff to officially unban them for any/all, since they were soft-unbanned/only got banned in the first place because of fuckery.

I put “over 1 year ago.” I’ve had maybe 5 scenes total since March, 2025, where I would basically cgen a character, play them for a scene, then never come back. Regularly RPing? Roughly around July, 2024 according to a log from BeipMU. Sometimes I just create characters and never play them. I usually blame how busy I am with work and children and family, but tbh there’s some kind of spark missing that prevents me from getting hooked into a game.

For my ADHD ass, its the lack of games. Like I switched to Star Wars hard-core after [political event] and now gotta build star wars to punch nazis. By the time its ready, will I have finished trending towards Cyberpunk that it is now a Shadowrun game? Will I watch Shogun and be back on track for L5R? Will there be robutts thar push me to Battletech?
Will Aegypt Mu ever spontaneously appear, for Mum-Rah?
And like, I want the thing now. Will pounce on it now. Have to wait risks wanting to pounce on other thing before I do the first. So the only solution is to build everything and be ready to go when the urge strikes.

Technically it’s only been a few months since I wrote a pose at a game, though it was the first time in about 4 months prior to that so I picked around the 6 month mark. I tried that Retromux place for a bit but it didn’t really stick with me.
For me it’s also the lack of games that are really grabbing my interest.

For those who haven’t RP’d in several years, what keeps you checking in/weighing in on the forum? I’m referring here to the forum parts specifically about MUSHing and RP, not the social/ooc parts like RL support, pets, books, dead people, etc.
