@junipersky had a friend from school on the game, and we all knew this because we were teenagers on the internet and what is privacy. And they had homecoming coming up and neither had a date.

And one of my friends (AUGUSTINE ❤️) and I decided they NEEDED dates and started petitioning for them to go together. I gave the guy so many pep talks. And then HE ASKED AND SHE SAID YES! And they sent us pictures of them dancing and stuff.

Augustine and I were convinced we’d just made a love match. I’m pretty sure he called me on an actual telephone the night of the dance and we discussed this. But it was not to be.

I have no idea if @Nilli and I are actually thinking of the same thing but if we are:

I absolutely had a best friend I convinced to join, and we played together for a while. We went to homecoming “together” and I know some of Ansible was rooting us along. This was before we both started “dating” other people on the game. He ended up with Iggy, and Drake and I were a thing for my 1st year of college.

There are so many quotation marks in there because once I had my first actual relationship I realized how not those others had been.
